Anchor

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 10, 2026

Anchor is a coaching marketplace that connects athletes and families with private coaches. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've kept it plain and short on purpose.

We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

Information we collect

When you create an account and use Anchor, we collect:

How we use your information

We use the information above only to run and improve Anchor:

Service providers

Anchor is built using Google Firebase, which provides our account sign-in, database, file storage, analytics, and notifications. Your information is stored securely through these services. Firebase processes data on our behalf and does not use it for its own advertising. You can review Google's practices in the Firebase Privacy and Security documentation.

Data sharing between users

Anchor is a marketplace, so some information is shared by design. Coach profiles (name, photo, bio, pricing, availability) are visible to athletes and parents browsing the app. When you book or message someone, the relevant details are shared with that person so the session can happen. We don't share your information beyond what's needed to make the marketplace work.

Your choices

Children's privacy

Anchor is intended to be used by adults, including parents who arrange coaching for their children. Accounts should be created and managed by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided us information without a parent's involvement, contact us and we will remove it.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal information, except where we're required to keep certain records for legal or security reasons.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Anchor grows and adds new features. When we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
